Short answer: Mail-in is for sellers outside San Diego County, Orange County, Los Angeles County, and the Inland Empire. Inside that area we come to your door and pay cash. Outside it, we can send a prepaid label so you ship the collection to us.

How mail-in works

Send clear photos of your collection plus your city and state. Tell us you are outside our SoCal doorstep area.
Step 02
We send a prepaid label
If we want the lot, we confirm interest and email a prepaid shipping label so you can mail it in at no shipping cost to you.
Step 03
Pack securely and ship
Pack the items carefully, print the label (or use a mobile dropoff option), and drop the package at the carrier.
Step 04
We receive, review, and pay
We receive the shipment, evaluate the items, agree on a price with you, and pay you after we receive and agree on a price.

What ships well
Compact, high value collectibles are the best fit for prepaid mail-in. Large furniture and mid-century modern pieces may not work for mail-in. Point those to a local buyer or ask us first.

Can I sell collectibles by mail if I am outside Southern California?
Yes. Outside San Diego County, Orange County, Los Angeles County, and the Inland Empire, DeKlutterNow can send a prepaid shipping label so you mail in your collection. We review what arrives, agree on a price, and pay you after we receive and agree.
Do I pay for shipping?
No. When we want the lot, we email a prepaid shipping label. You pack and drop it at the carrier.
What ships well for mail-in?
Games, Lego, trading cards, comics, cameras, jewelry, watches, retro toys, and old phones usually ship well. Large furniture and mid-century modern pieces often do not. Ask us if you are unsure.
When do I get paid?
We pay you after we receive the shipment, review the items, and agree on a price. We do not invent a payout before we see the lot.
I live in San Diego, OC, LA, or the Inland Empire. Should I still mail in?
Prefer our doorstep buy. In SoCal we come to you, evaluate on the spot, and pay cash before leaving. Mail-in is for people outside that area.
